New special issue in Futures: Constructing futures through climate modelling

New timely special issue in Futures "Constructing futures through climate modelling" with guest editor Christopher Groves (Swansea University), alongside  Béatrice Cointe (CNRS), and IAM COMPACT colleagues Alexandros Nikas (NTUA), Natasha Frilingou (NTUA) & Alaa Al Khourdajie (Imperial). 

The special issue examines the epistemological, ethical, and political dimensions of using models to construct climate futures, exploring how modelling practices shape uncertainties, policy decisions, and dominant imaginaries while exploring their limitations, assumptions, and potential to integrate diverse knowledge systems and justice-oriented perspectives.

The deadline for submissions is 31 March 2026. Potential contributors are encouraged to contact at c.r.groves@swansea.ac.uk to discuss submission.
